Job Description - Application Engineer - Gas Treating
Reports to: Proposals Manager
Job Description
To accurately develop technical proposal and commercial estimate for process equipment and other items of process plants particularly for gas treating Business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creating comprehensive engineering proposals tailored to client needs
- Understand project requirements, interpret specifications, and contribute technical expertise to the proposal.
- Reviewing project specifications and requirements to develop accurate proposals
- Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, technical, and management teams
- Presenting proposals to clients and stakeholders, addressing queries and concerns
- Ensuring proposals adhere to industry standards and compliance regulations
- Adhere to all Jord company policies and IMS requirements
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in proposal development and engineering projects preferably in gas treating technologies.
- Bachelor s degree in chemical engineering or petroleum engineering
- Min 3-10 of professional experience in design of equipment for the Chemical, Process Industries
- Hands on experience of chemical / process design and simulation programs like Hysys, ProMax Etc.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and analytical mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office programs such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Proven experience in proposal development and engineering projects preferably in gas treating technologies
- Knowledge of industry standards and compliance regulations
