Key Responsibilities

- End-to-End Web Development: Develop, maintain, and continuously evolve a highly

modern, elegant, and responsive company website on WordPress, ensuring

performance, security, and visual excellence at all times.

- Template Customization & UI Design: Take existing templates, layouts, and brand

assets and heavily customize them to create sophisticated, high-end user

experiences. Build custom page layouts and templates using Webflow, Elementor, Divi,

or similar builders; write clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for bespoke components.

- Custom Coding & Integrations: Write clean HTML/CSS to break out of rigid layouts,

customize components, and seamlessly integrate Webflow elements, interactive

widgets, or external marketing APIs.

- AI-Driven Workflow Efficiency: Leverage modern AI tools (Midjourney, Canva AI,

Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT/Claude) for layout ideation, asset adaptation, code

troubleshooting, and workflow automation to radically accelerate development and

optimization timelines.

- Performance & SEO Optimization: Ensure the site is lightning-fast, secure, mobile-first,

and architected for top-tier SEO and content marketing scalability. Implement on-

page SEO best practices, Core Web Vitals optimisations, and structured data markup

across all pages. Manage WordPress plugins, theme updates, backups, and hosting

environments proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact users.

Ensure the site is fully responsive, accessible (WCAG 2.1 AA), and cross-browser

compatible.

- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Build high-converting landing pages, sleek

lead-capture forms, and elegant resource hubs to support marketing campaigns.

Collaborate with content strategists to structure landing pages,



blog templates, and

campaign microsites for maximum engagement and conversion.

Experience

3–5 years of experience building premium, comprehensive websites on WordPress. Strong

portfolio of modern B2B and B2C websites.

Core Skills:

- CMS & Dev: Advanced expertise in WordPress - Gutenberg, block protocols, premium

themes, custom themes, WP CLI, custom post types, complex plugin ecosystems, and

PHP basics.

- Frontend: Strong proficiency in HTML/CSS from scratch. HTML5, CSS3 (Grid, Flexbox,

animations), and a solid understanding of JavaScript to manipulate templates and

layouts seamlessly.

- Page Builders: Elementor Pro, Divi, or Gutenberg blocks at an advanced level.
- Hybrid Tooling: Experience with Webflow integrations or transitioning micro-

experiences and animations from Webflow into WordPress. Knowledge of HubSpot /

Mailchimp embeds, Google Tag Manager, and Analytics 4.

- Design Sensitivity: A solid aesthetic sensibility. A sharp eye for typography,

whitespace, visual hierarchy, and modern web design trends. You know how to make

a template look high-end. Knowledge of Figma, Canva, and Adobe XD — able to

create and adapt basic visual assets or tweak layout structures.

- AI Savvy: Active and advanced use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney) to

optimize workflows, generate clean code snippets, and assist in asset adaptation.

- Independence & Ownership: A self-starter mindset who enjoys taking a foundational

layout concept and executing it to a polished, final launch. You're comfortable owning

an entire web project solo, from the first brief to the final pixel. You communicate

clearly with non-technical stakeholders and can quickly translate content needs into

web execution.
