Technical Sales Manager ABDM Connect
Experience: 3–5 years | Location: Bengaluru |On-Site
About Eka.care
Eka.care is a Bengaluru-based, AI-native health platform digitizing healthcare delivery in India. We build for every side of the care ecosystem: an AI-powered EMR used by thousands of doctors, a personal health record app with 30M+ registered users, AI clinical documentation (Eka Scribe), and developer APIs that let any health system plug into India's digital health infrastructure. We were the first private company approved to create ABHA IDs under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, and we've been building on the ABDM stack since day one. Eka is backed by Hummingbird Ventures, 3one4 Capital, Verlinvest, Mirae Asset, and Aditya Birla Ventures.
ABDM Connect is our platform that helps hospitals, labs, clinics, and HIS/EMR vendors go live on India's health stack — ABHA verification, HIP/HIU flows, consent-based health record exchange — without building or certifying it themselves.
What this role is
Deals stall at the technical evaluation stage. Buyers ask what M2/M3 certification actually involves, how consent flows work, and what changes in their existing system. Someone needs to be in those rooms who can answer without a "let me check with engineering."You'll own conversion from qualified lead to signed: demos, solution scoping, integration walkthroughs, RFP responses, and unblocking whatever is holding a deal up.
What you'll do
- Run technical discovery and demos with hospital IT teams, CTOs at HIS/EMR companies, and digital health leads
- Translate the ABDM spec into what it means for their stack: what they build, what we handle, how long it takes
- Scope integrations and build the solution proposal alongside pre-sales and engineering
- Handle security, compliance, and data privacy questions (DPDP, consent, audit) confidently
- Support pilots and early integration so deals don't die post-signature
- Feed patterns back to product on what buyers keep asking for and where we lose
What we're looking for
- 3–5 years in technical sales, solutions consulting, pre-sales, or customer-facing implementation
- Healthcare background: health-tech, HIS/EMR, diagnostics, insurance/TPA, or hospital IT. You should know how a hospital actually runs and who signs off on what.
- Comfortable with APIs, integrations, and reading a spec. You don't need to code, but you should be able to walk someone through an API flow and know when a request is or isn't feasible.
- Clear writer. A lot of this job is a valuable follow-up email after a messy call.
- Willing to travel for on-site meetings
Nice to have
- Exposure to regulated or compliance-heavy tech: health, fintech, insurance, or govtech — anywhere you've sold into an environment with certification steps and audit trails
- Worked with government or public-sector digital infrastructure, or a platform built on top of one (UPI, Aadhaar, ONDC, GSTN). The shape of the problem is similar.
- Comfort with data standards and interoperability as a concept, whether HL7/FHIR or any domain where two systems had to agree on a format
- Sold to hospital chains, diagnostic networks, or other multi-location operators with a long approval chain
Full-Time Employee Benefits
- Medical Insurance & Accidental Insurance
- Maternity & Paternity Benefits
- PF, Gratuity, & Leave Encashment
- Salary Advance Policy
