Job Summary

Were seeking a Senior Software Engineer (SDE III) who loves tackling challenging problems and can own technology products end to end - from design and planning through implementation, testing, and deployment.

Youll build high-quality, production-grade products and systems that scale to millions of concurrent users, while operating in a fast-paced environment with evolving and sometimes ambiguous requirements.

This role requires strong technical ownership, the ability to make independent architecture and technology decisions, and a willingness to learn and adopt current technologies as the product and engineering challenges evolve.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with Product Managers and developers to translate requirements into technical specifications and scalable architectural designs.
- Own products end to end - from design and planning to implementation, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
- Design, build, test, and deploy scalable, production-grade systems capable of supporting high-scale workloads.
- Make independent architecture and technology decisions, choosing the right tools and approaches for each problem.
- Lead the development of scalable, high-performance software and proactively identify and resolve technical challenges and bottlenecks.
- Own the outcomes of your technical decisions and ensure high standards of reliability, performance, and code quality.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, lead code reviews, and drive technical excellence across the team.
- Research and adopt new technologies and skills as required to solve engineering problems effectively.
- Collaborate with QA and cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, high-quality production releases.

Requirements





- Extensive programming experience of 4+ years in one or more languages such as C++, C#, Java, GoLang, or Python, with expertise in object-oriented design and development.
- Hands-on experience with technologies such as Go, MongoDB, Kafka, Redis, NATS, and ReactJS; the technology stack will continue to evolve over time.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Experience with game development frameworks and engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine, Cocos) is a plus.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions.
- Experience leading and mentoring developers, driving technical excellence and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical ideas and concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
