Key Requirements/ Past Experiences/ Knowledge

- Robust knowledge in AWS Well architected Framework
- Strong experience in design ,development and deployment of scalable, highly available and fault tolerant systems in AWS
- Understand requirements to define solution to be deployed in AWS
- Collaborate with business ,technical, support, security teams for requirements
- Propose solution design confirming to the guardrails of enterprise IT . Create design artifacts , decision records for the solution design. Architecture defence for proposed solution
- Strong knowledge in 5R principles and have worked on atleast two of - Refractor, Replatform, Rehost approaches
- Experience in migrating applications from On Premise to AWS
- Experience in capacity planning , infrastructure recommendations
- Experience in architecture decisions based on underlying technical, business constraints
- Prior working experience in atleast one programming language including design patterns, database interaction patterns
- Prior working experience in design, development, deployment one/multiple technologies - APIs , middleware, single page applications
- Knowledge on Continuous Integration, Continuous deployment (CICD).



Should have working experience in a software development project involving CICD as a developer or architect
- Suggest architectural best practices , patterns to DEV,INFRA teams
- Strong problem solving and articulation skills
- Strong knowledge and or working experience in contemporary architectural practices - REST, microservices ,containerisation, event brokers, NoSQL etc
- Strong knowledge and or working experience other AWS services - S3, EKS, Fargate, API Gateway, Lambda, Dynamo DB, RDS, Elastic Load Balancer, Route 53, SQS, Elasticache,SNS etc.
- Excellent skills in AWS VPC Networking, should have experience in setting up a VPC and all its networking components for a large distributed 3 tier architecture
- Strong knowledge of security best practices to be implemented using AWS Services (e.g. using IAM Roles, KMS, WAF, Guard Duty etc.).
- Strong knowledge about AWS Cost Optimization techniques
- Experience with monitoring and auditing solutions such as AWS Cloud Watch and Cloud Trail respectively.
- Atleast 1 AWS certification. Good to have : AWS Solution Architect Professional/Associate
