The opportunity: Senior Manager-National-Assurance-ASU - FAAS - FinancialAccountingAdv - Bangalore

Your key responsibilities

- Good understanding of IFRS/US/UK GAAP and International auditing standards
- Technical accounting advisory on complex topics (e.g. Revenue Recognition, Leases, business combinations, consolidation, shared based payments, financial instruments including debt/equity etc.)
- Robust written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills
- Ability and comfort level in researching client inquires and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies
- Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice, as necessary
- Confident and comfortable with uncertainty and ambiguity in a project environment
- Take personal responsibility for the quality of delivery
- Instil a positive team mentality, even when under pressure, by treating their colleagues well and creating an inclusive culture
- Extremely comfortable and confident around senior stakeholders, internally and externally
- Extremely comfortable with Excel and PowerPoint. Much of our work involves detailed analysis so it is critical you can work with these tools
- Accounting and regulatory support for accounting change and special matters
- White paper writing skills
- Provide comprehensive technical accounting guidance to clients,



addressing complex issues and transactions (e.g. Business combination, consolidation, stock based compensation, revenue, leases accounting)
- Conduct research and analysis on accounting issues, documenting findings and proposing solutions
- Preparation of financial statements including accounting policies and governance
- Accounting processes
- Audit support and governance

Skills and attributes

To qualify for the role you must have

Qualification

- chartered accountant

Experience

- Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA (US) or ACCA (UK) - 3-6 years of relevant post qualification experience
