Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Metallurgical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Job Summary:-

We are looking for an experienced and technically robust Technical Assistant to Director to support the Director in technical operations, plant performance monitoring, costing, MIS, cost optimization and strategic coordination.

Key Responsibilities:-

- Assist the Director in technical and operational planning and plant performance monitoring.
- Monitor production, OEE, MTBF, MTTR, costing and operational KPIs.
- Prepare MIS reports, cost sheets, management reports and variance analysis.
- Support raw material evaluation, procurement and inventory planning.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process optimization and operational improvement.
- Coordinate with Production, Finance, Procurement, Stores, Maintenance and Quality teams.
- Conduct plant visits, operational reviews and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for key issues.




- Support shutdown planning, Kaizen, Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Utilize SAP PP/MM, Advanced Excel and Power BI for analysis and reporting.
- Assist the Director in strategic projects, technical reviews and cross-functional follow-ups.
- Track key action points and coordinate with concerned departments for timely closure.

Candidate Profile:-

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Steel / DRI / Ferro Alloys / Power Plant Operations, along with good analytical, costing, MIS and cross-functional coordination skills. The candidate should be comfortable with frequent plant visits and working closely with senior management.
