- Role Summary: Responsible for performing security assessments of web applications and APIs, identifying vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10 API Security Top 10), and providing remediation recommendations.
- Experience in web and API penetration testing
- Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and HTTP/HTTPS
- Proficiency with tools such as Burp Suite, nmap, and Postman
- Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, API Security Top 10 and beyond
- Conduct penetration testing on web applications and REST/GraphQL APIs
- Identify vulnerabilities such as OWASP Top 10 risks (e.g., XSS, SQL Injection, IDOR, authentication flaws)
- Perform security assessments using automated tools and manual techniques
- Analyze application logic for business logic flaws and authorization issues
- Document findings with proof-of-concepts and remediation guidance
- Collaborate with development teams to validate fixes
- Prepare transparent and concise security assessment reports
