Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead - Salesforce Order Management Specialist with 10+ years of Salesforce experience and strong expertise in Salesforce Order Management (SOM). The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable order-to-cash solutions, leading technical teams, driving integrations with enterprise systems, and ensuring seamless order processing from quote creation through fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Order Management Solution Design

- Lead the design and implementation of Salesforce Order Management solutions.
- Define scalable Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) architecture.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand order management requirements.
- Drive solution architecture discussions and technical design reviews.

Order Capture Quote-to-Order Process

- Design and implement order capture processes from multiple sales channels.
- Configure Quote-to-Order conversion processes.
- Ensure seamless handoff between Salesforce CPQ and Salesforce Order Management.
- Support complex order creation scenarios and business validations.

Order Lifecycle Management

- Design solutions for complete order lifecycle management including:
- Order Creation
- Order Validation
- Order Fulfillment
- Order Amendments
- Order Cancellation
- Order Returns
- Order Completion

- Ensure visibility and auditability across the order lifecycle.

Order Validation Business Rules

- Define and implement order validation frameworks.




- Configure business rules to ensure order accuracy and compliance.
- Implement exception handling and error management processes.
- Support automated validation of pricing, product eligibility, and fulfillment requirements.

Order Orchestration

- Design order orchestration processes across multiple fulfillment systems.
- Configure orchestration workflows and order decomposition logic.
- Ensure coordination across upstream and downstream systems.
- Drive automation of fulfillment and provisioning processes.

SAP Integration

- Design and support integrations between Salesforce and SAP.
- Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams.
- Manage synchronization of:
- Orders
- Products
- Pricing
- Customers
- Fulfillment Status

- Ensure data consistency across platforms.

API Integration Architecture

- Design and implement enterprise integrations using:
- REST APIs
- SOAP Services
- Platform Events
- Middleware Platforms

- Define integration standards and best practices.
- Support real-time and batch integration patterns.

Workflow Configuration Automation

- Configure Salesforce Flows and workflow automation supporting order management processes.
- Automate:
- Order approvals

- Notifications

- Improve operational efficiency through automation.

Technical Leadership

- Lead development and implementation teams.
- Review solution designs and technical deliverables.
- Conduct code reviews and architecture reviews.
- Mentor developers and technical consultants.
- Support effort estimation, sprint planning, and release management activities.
