Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce CPQ Technical Lead with 10+ years of Salesforce experience and strong expertise in Salesforce CPQ (SteelBrick). The candidate will be responsible for leading the design, configuration, development, and implementation of enterprise-scale Quote-to-Cash (QTC) solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of product catalog setup, product configuration, pricing models, approvals, quote generation, contract lifecycle processes, renewals, and CPQ integrations while providing technical leadership to development teams and customer stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce CPQ Solution Design

- Lead end-to-end Salesforce CPQ solution design and implementation.
- Drive architecture and technical design decisions for Quote-to-Cash processes.
- Define scalable and maintainable CPQ solution frameworks.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into CPQ solutions.

Product Catalog Product Configuration

- Design and manage complex product catalogs.
- Configure:
- Product Bundles
- Feature Options
- Configuration Attributes
- Product Rules
- Guided Selling

- Implement scalable product management strategies.

Pricing Discounting

- Design and implement:
- Pricing Rules
- Discount Schedules
- Cost Plus Pricing
- Tiered Pricing
- Subscription Pricing Models

- Define pricing governance and approval controls.
- Optimize pricing calculations for performance and maintainability.

Quote Management

- Configure and enhance quote generation processes.
- Support complex quote structures and approval routing.
- Implement quote validation and compliance mechanisms.
- Ensure efficient quote creation and management processes.

Approval Processes





- Design and implement multi-level approval workflows.
- Configure approval matrices based on:
- Product Type
- Pricing Thresholds
- Geography
- Business Unit

- Ensure compliance with enterprise approval standards.

Contracting Renewals

- Support contract generation and amendment processes.
- Configure contract renewal and subscription lifecycle management.
- Work closely with downstream CLM and Order Management processes.
- Ensure alignment between quote, contract, and renewal processes.

Technical Leadership

- Lead development teams across multiple Salesforce workstreams.
- Conduct solution design reviews and code reviews.
- Define development standards and best practices.
- Mentor developers and technical consultants.
- Drive estimation, release planning, and technical governance activities.

Apex Lightning Development

- Provide technical oversight for:
- Apex Classes
- Triggers
- Batch Apex
- Queueable Apex
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Integrations

- Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and governor limits.

CPQ Integration Design

- Design and support integrations between Salesforce CPQ and enterprise systems.
- Implement integration patterns using:
- REST APIs
- SOAP Services
- Middleware Platforms

- Collaborate with enterprise integration teams.
- Ensure secure and scalable integration solutions.
