Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong hands-on experience in 220kV electrical systems and transmission projects. The ideal candidate should have practical exposure to site execution, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of 220kV electrical equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute and supervise electrical works related to 220kV substations and transmission projects.
- Handle installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of 220kV electrical equipment.
- Coordinate execution of transformers, circuit breakers, isolators, CTs, PTs/CVTs, protection systems, busbars, and associated equipment.
- Ensure electrical works are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, standards, and project schedules.
- Conduct and monitor testing of electrical equipment and systems.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and site execution teams.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of electrical activities.
- Identify technical issues at site and coordinate corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, quality requirements, and project specifications.
- Review electrical drawings,



SLDs, cable schedules, and technical documents.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain relevant site documentation.
- Support inspection, energization, commissioning, and handover activities.

Required Skills & Experience

- 712 years of overall experience in Electrical Engineering.
- Hands-on experience in 220kV projects is mandatory.
- Strong exposure to 220kV substations / transmission & distribution projects.
- Practical knowledge of electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Positive understanding of HV equipment, protection systems, switchyard equipment, cables, earthing, and electrical safety.
- Ability to read and interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), electrical drawings, and technical specifications.
- Strong site execution and team coordination skills.
- Experience in Infrastructure / EPC / Power Transmission & Distribution projects will be preferred.
- Willingness to work at project sites and travel as required.

Qualification

B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
Diploma in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience may also be considered.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with strong hands-on 220kV site execution and commissioning experience in power transmission, substations, or EPC projects will be preferred.
