Finance & Accounts Manager Xero | VAT | Financial Reporting | Remote

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Finance & Accounts Manager with strong hands-on expertise in Xero accounting software, bank reconciliation, VAT compliance, financial reporting, and cash flow forecasting.

This is a high-ownership role requiring independent management of accounting operations, month-end closing, AP/AR, MIS reporting, and internal financial controls for a fast-growing business.

Key Responsibilities

- Complete reconciliation and clean-up of Xero accounting records

- Manage and reconcile multiple bank accounts (including multi-currency accounts)

- Perform monthly bank reconciliation & ledger reconciliation

- Ensure accurate VAT accounting and tax compliance

- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L;, Balance Sheet)

- Build and maintain cash flow forecasts

- Conduct month-end and year-end closing activities

- Develop and improve financial SOPs & internal controls

- Support inventory and margin reporting (e-commerce exposure preferred)

- Coordinate with external accountants and auditors

- Maintain compliance and documentation standards





Required Skills & Experience

- 4-6+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting

- Strong hands-on experience with Xero (Mandatory)

- Experience in Bank Reconciliation & General Ledger Management

- Understanding of VAT / Tax Compliance

- Experience preparing MIS Reports & Financial Statements

- Robust Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Financial Analysis)

- Experience in e-commerce accounting preferred

- Ability to work independently and take ownership

- Strong analytical and process-driven mindset
