Big Wings LLC is looking for a motivated Backend Developer Intern to join our engineering team and work on our TechTruckers TMS and BIG Garage platforms.This is an opportunity to work on real-world logistics, fleet management, automotive SaaS and AI-powered systems while learning modern backend technologies.What You’ll Work On

- Develop and maintain Node.js / Express.js APIs
- Work with PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Build backend features for TMS, dispatch, drivers, vehicles, maintenance, accounting and repair-shop workflows
- Integrate third-party APIs, GPS/ELD, mapping and other external services
- Develop authentication, RBAC and secure APIs
- Build background processes, webhooks and automation
- Debug, test and optimise backend services
- Work with cloud environments such as AWS/Azure/Hetzner

AI & Emerging TechnologiesYou will also get exposure to and contribute to:

- LLM / AI APIs
- AI agents and automation
- OCR and intelligent document processing
- Structured AI/JSON extraction
- RAG and vector databases
- AI-powered workflow automation
- AI integrations for logistics and fleet operations

RequirementsMust have:





- Basic knowledge of Node.js / JavaScript
- Understanding of REST APIs and JSON
- Basic SQL/database knowledge
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong interest in learning AI and modern backend technologies
