Position: Production Manager – Fabrication Yard
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical
Experience: 5–12 Years
Industry: Concrete Batching Plant / Heavy Fabrication / Construction Equipment

Job Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day fabrication and production activities for Concrete Batching Plants.
- Plan production schedules, manpower, materials and resources to meet delivery targets.
- Supervise cutting, fit-up, welding, grinding, drilling and mechanical assembly.
- Handle fabrication of aggregate bins, hoppers, conveyors, platforms, structures, chutes, silos and other batching plant components.
- Read and understand fabrication drawings, mechanical drawings and BOMs.
- Manage and allocate work to welders, fabricators, fitters, helpers and supervisors.
- Coordinate with Design, Quality, Purchase, Stores and Assembly teams.
- Ensure proper welding quality, dimensional accuracy, alignment and finishing as per drawings.
- Monitor production progress and control material wastage, scrap and rework.




- Identify production issues and take corrective actions to avoid delays.
- Ensure availability and proper utilization of fabrication machines, tools and equipment.
- Maintain daily production, manpower and material consumption reports.
- Ensure proper safety, PPE and housekeeping in the fabrication yard.
- Lead the production team and ensure quality, productivity and timely completion of batching plant components.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of heavy fabrication and production management.
- Good knowledge of welding, fit-up, cutting and mechanical assembly.
- Ability to read fabrication drawings and BOMs.
- Knowledge of conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, motors and other mechanical components.
- Good manpower management, planning and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Concrete Batching Plant manufacturing/fabrication or similar heavy machinery industry will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
