VMC Machine Operator

Responsible for operating and monitoring Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines to manufacture precision components as per engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate VMC machines safely and efficiently to meet production targets.
- Load and unload components and ensure proper workpiece clamping.
- Set cutting tools, tool offsets, and work offsets as required.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Perform in-process inspection using vernier calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
- Make basic offset corrections to maintain dimensional accuracy.
- Monitor machining operations and identify tool wear, defects, and machine abnormalities.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and report major machine issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain proper housekeeping, 5S, safety procedures, and production records.
- Ensure components meet required quality and production standards.

Pay: ₹16,144.06 - ₹24,905.75 per month
