About the Role

Modem Ad Agency Private Limited is looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Accountant to manage and oversee the company’s day-to-day accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate should have robust knowledge of accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting, with the ability to independently handle accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping operations.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Prepare and file GST and TDS returns accurately and within deadlines.
- Maintain and reconcile bank accounts, ledgers, and financial records.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Track outstanding payments and follow up with clients/vendors when required.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Handle vendor bills, invoices, payments, and expense records.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, clients, and external consultants.
- Assist management with budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Ensure proper documentation and systematic maintenance of financial records.




- Maintain confidentiality of all financial and company information.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and government regulations.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
- Positive knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime or other accounting/ERP software.
- Strong command of MS Excel.
- Experience in independently managing complete accounting operations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Experience working with a Private Limited Company or advertising/agency environment will be an advantage.
