Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible, organized, and result-oriented Production & Dispatch Coordinator to manage and coordinate the movement of orders from raw material requirements through production to finished product dispatch, while ensuring that all activities are completed within defined timelines.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining stock and inventory updates, coordinating with production and dispatch teams, monitoring vehicle and driver movements, and ensuring smooth and timely order execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and coordinate orders from raw material requirements to finished product, ensuring completion within the required deadlines.
- Maintain regular stock and inventory updates and communicate material requirements to the concerned teams.
- Coordinate and pass daily production and dispatch orders to the relevant production and dispatch teams.
- Ensure that daily orders are properly assigned and followed up until completion.
- Coordinate with drivers regarding routes, local check-outs, delivery schedules, and vehicle movements.
- Obtain regular and accurate updates from drivers regarding their assigned routes and delivery status.
- Check vehicle loading and ensure that the correct orders are loaded as per dispatch requirements.
- Ensure vehicles are not overloaded and that loading is carried out as per company requirements.
- Properly communicate route details, billing information, order details, and delivery instructions to drivers.
- Coordinate with billing, production, dispatch, and other concerned departments for smooth order execution.
- Monitor pending orders, dispatch schedules, and delivery timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, dispatches, vehicle movements, and delivery status.
- Identify delays or operational issues and coordinate with the concerned teams for timely resolution.
- Ensure proper communication between the office, production team, dispatch team, drivers, and other concerned personnel.
- Support the company in maintaining productive day-to-day operations and timely deliveries.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant experience preferred
- Good coordination, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and activities simultaneously.
- Ability to maintain stock, order, and dispatch records accurately.
- Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with drivers, production staff, dispatch teams, and office personnel.
- Responsible and disciplined approach toward deadlines and operational activities.
- Candidates with experience in manufacturing, logistics, dispatch, furniture, mattresses, hardware, or related industries will be preferred.
Preferred Candidates
Candidates with experience in logistics, administration, transportation, production, or operations will be preferred.
