Description and Requirements

Azure Data Platform Support

- Assist in maintaining and monitoring Azure-based data platforms.
- Support Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).
- Help monitor platform performance, data pipeline execution, and system health.
- Learn and follow security and governance standards for Azure resources.
- Support troubleshooting of data platform issues and incidents.

Data Engineering & ETL Development

- Assist in developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
- Write and optimize basic SQL queries and Python scripts for data processing.
- Support data ingestion, transformation, and validation activities.
- Help create datasets and data models for reporting and analytics.
- Perform data quality checks and support issue resolution.
- Document data flows, processes, and technical specifications.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience • 0-1 year of experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Cloud Technologies, or Software Development.

- Internship experience in Azure, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or related technologies is preferred.

Knowledge and skills (general and technical) Technical Skills

- Basic understanding of Azure cloud services.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Basic Python programming skills.
- Understanding of data warehousing and ETL concepts.




- Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Azure SQL is a plus.
- Understanding of Git version control.
- Basic knowledge of Power BI or other reporting tools.
- Familiarity with REST APIs is desirable.
