Sales & Service Engineer (Water & Wastewater Treatment)

About the Role

Wateria Technovation Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a proactive and hands-on Sales & Service Engineer to drive business growth and deliver on-site technical support for our advanced water and wastewater treatment systems (STP, ETP, RO, and filtration units).

This role blends client-facing technical sales with practical field service, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Service & Field Support:

Perform on-site installation, routine servicing, and preventive maintenance for water and wastewater treatment plants.

Handle hands-on service tasks, including filter media replacement, cartridge fixing/replacement, valve adjustments, and piping connections.

Troubleshoot basic electrical wiring, control panels, pumps, dosing systems, and sensor calibrations.

Conduct regular site visits to ensure optimal plant performance, perform water testing checks, and resolve operational issues promptly.

Sales & Business Development:

Identify new business opportunities and generate leads across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.





Pitch technical solutions, conduct site surveys, and prepare tailored techno-commercial proposals.

Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), spare parts sales, and system retrofits.

Candidate Requirements

Education: Diploma or B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.

Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on field service and sales experience in the water/wastewater treatment industry (STP/ETP/RO/Filtration).

Technical Skills: Sound practical knowledge of cartridge replacement, pump mechanics, basic control wiring, and plumbing/piping layouts.

Soft Skills: Robust interpersonal communication, negotiation skills, and a customer-first mindset.

Mobility: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for client site visits and service calls.
