Job Description and KRA:

1) Banking & Finance:
Leading team of 4-8 accountants, Coordinating with the banks regarding hedging requirements, FFR Reports, Monthly Stock Statement Submissions etc

2) Taxation:

Preparing the projected profitability statement for the company for the purpose of determination of Advance Tax.

Filling of monthly GST returns i.e GSTR 3B & GSTR 1for various companies, GST Reconciliation along with GST annual return and GST audit

Monthly calculation of TDS/TCS dues & timely payment of the same Preparation & filing of quarterly TDS/TCS statement along with Reconciliation

Preparing Income tax returns Resident Individuals, Partnership firms, HUF’s & Companies.

Preparation of necessary documents for income tax assessment

3) Finalization of accounts:

Preparing monthly/quarterly P&L; and Balance Sheet and also the final B/S for the Year as per Companies Act and getting the Statutory Audit done for the same

4) Logistics (Import & Export):

Coordinating with clearing and forwarding agents for getting the Parcel released on time by ensuring timely payments of customs duty and other related charges.

Sound knowledge of Export Oriented procedures for international shipping of diamonds and jewellery

Legal (MOU’s, Agreements etc.):

Coordinating with the legal consultants for finalizing Rent Agreements for the company. Coordinating for finalizing MOU’s with third parties for the company. Compliance with provisions of Companies Act, 2013

6) Inventory:

Keeping track of Inventory levels and preparing stock statements, consumption reports and other MIS

7) Accounting OverSight

Bank Reconciliation, Account Receivable, Accounts Payable, Financial Statement,

Prepare Sales & Purchase Entry Analyze different general ledger accounts regularly.

Prepare Journal Entries and synthesize common ledger for subsidiary accounts.

Provide support to auxiliary schedules for auditing purposes as per assigned work.

Assist for the Account reconciliation process on a monthly basis.

Other Statutory Compliance

Other Requirements:

1) 5 years of experience

2) MS Office and Robust Excel Skills

3) Reasonable command over written & spoken English.

4) Candidates with minimum 2-6 years experience in the Industry.
