Job Description – MBA Fresher (Marketing & Finance)

Job Purpose

To support the Marketing and Finance functions while gaining practical exposure to logistics business operations, customer management, business development, financial analysis and reporting.

Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing & Business Development

- Support the team in identifying new business opportunities and potential customers.
- Generate leads through market research, online platforms, references and business networking.
- Assist in preparing quotations, proposals and presentations for customers.
- Coordinate with customers for requirements, follow-ups and meetings.
- Maintain customer and lead databases.
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly and monthly marketing reports.
- Conduct market and competitor research.
- Support digital marketing and social media activities.
- Coordinate with the operations team to understand customer requirements and service delivery.

Finance & MIS

- Assist in preparing financial and business MIS reports.
- Support invoice checking, billing and payment follow-ups.
- Maintain records of customer receivables and outstanding payments.
- Assist in preparing revenue, expense and profitability reports.
- Coordinate with the Finance and Accounts team for data collection and reconciliation.
- Support basic financial analysis and management reporting.
- Maintain proper documentation and records.




- Assist in tracking business performance against targets.

Logistics & Business Understanding

- Develop an understanding of FTL, Part Load, Express, Warehousing and other logistics services.
- Understand freight rates, costing, margins and profitability.
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations and Finance teams.
- Support management in preparing business analysis and presentations.
- Participate in customer meetings and business-development activities when required.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Lead generation and follow-up
- Customer acquisition support
- Timely preparation of MIS reports
- Accuracy of financial and business data
- Customer follow-up and coordination
- Support in achieving business targets
- Quality and timeliness of assigned work

Qualification

- MBA in Marketing & Finance – Fresher
- Graduation in any relevant discipline.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Basic understanding of finance, marketing and business concepts.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
