Vacancy – Accountant

Position: Accountant
Organization: SANMAT School of Nursing & Medical Research
Location: Dumka, Jharkhand
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Experience: 3–5 years preferred
Employment Type: Full time

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions of the institution.
- Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, vouchers, receipts and payment records.
- Handle Tally/ERP, bank reconciliation and monthly financial reporting.
- Manage student fee collection, receipts, outstanding fees and related records.
- Prepare salary/payroll-related financial statements and coordinate with HR.
- Ensure timely statutory compliances including GST, TDS, PF and ESIC, as applicable.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors and management.
- Monitor income, expenditure, budgets and cash flow.




- Prepare MIS and financial reports for management review.
- Ensure proper documentation and internal financial controls.
- Supervise junior accounts/admin staff, wherever applicable.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Graduate/Post Graduate in Commerce, Accounting or Finance.
- Strong knowledge of Tally, MS Excel and accounting principles.
- Experience in handling institutional/educational or healthcare accounts will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of statutory compliances.
- Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills.
- Candidates from Dumka/Jharkhand or willing to relocate to Dumka will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
