Job Brief

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to drive the sales and marketing of our lighting products across Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for developing the market, expanding the distributor and dealer network, generating sales, and strengthening relationships with channel partners.

Key Responsibilities

Develop sales strategies to achieve Mumbai market targets.
Drive sales of LED and other lighting products through distributors, dealers, retailers, and channel partners.
Appoint new distributors, dealers, and business partners.
Manage relationships with existing distributors and dealers.
Conduct market visits to identify opportunities and track trends.
Generate and convert new leads.
Promote products and communicate their features, benefits, and commercial offerings.
Improve product availability, visibility, and sales with channel partners.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, launches, and market developments.
Execute local sales and marketing activities.
Follow up on enquiries, orders, payments, and customer requirements.




Coordinate with internal teams for orders, dispatches, and customer support.
Submit sales reports, market updates, and competitor feedback.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Candidate Profile

Experience: 3–7 years in sales, preferably in lighting, electrical, LED, consumer durables, or related industries.
Solid experience in distributor and dealer network development.
Good understanding of the Mumbai lighting/electrical market.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
Ability to independently manage the assigned territory and achieve sales targets.
Willingness to travel extensively within Mumbai and nearby markets.
Strong market development and business-generation skills.
Proficiency in basic reporting, MS Excel, and sales-related tools will be an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
