We are seeking a dedicated Creative Producer to join our content team and help shape the future of storytelling through short-form video.

Job Summary

As a Creative Producer, you will play a key role in selecting, curating, developing, and managing high-quality dramatic content that matches the tastes and preferences of our users. The role requires a strong understanding of storytelling, short-form drama, audience behavior, and digital content trends.

You will also be expected to take a hands-on approach to creative development, including script writing, story development, concept creation, and refinement whenever required by the company.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement content strategies aligned with the company's vision, business goals, and audience preferences.
- Curate and evaluate a diverse range of short-form drama content across genres, themes, and storytelling formats.
- Identify promising stories, concepts, scripts, and creative opportunities for Vahaflix.
- Analyze user data, content performance, market trends, and audience behavior to make informed content decisions.
- Collaborate with marketing and analytics teams to evaluate content performance and refine content selection and development strategies.
- Manage content scheduling, cataloging, and planning to ensure a consistent flow of fresh and relevant content.
- Maintain high standards of content quality, storytelling, originality,



and authenticity while ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and applicable regulatory standards.
- Participate in negotiations and manage relationships with content creators, production houses, content providers, and rights holders, when required.
- Provide support and creative guidance to the content operations team and contribute to a productive and innovative work environment.
- Take ownership of script writing and story development whenever required by the company, including writing, developing, reviewing, and refining scripts for short-form drama content.
- Develop engaging story concepts, characters, dialogues, hooks, and episode structures suitable for short-video drama formats.
- Work closely with the creative and production teams to ensure scripts are emotionally engaging, commercially viable, and aligned with the target audience.
- Be flexible to take on hands-on creative assignments such as script writing, story development, concept creation, content ideation, and creative refinement based on business requirements.
- Stay updated with emerging trends, successful formats, audience preferences, and competitors in the short-drama and OTT entertainment space.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Film Studies, Media Management, Communications, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in content production, content management, creative production, or a similar role, preferably within a digital media, OTT, streaming, or entertainment environment.
- Strong understanding of the drama genre and an excellent sense of what makes short-form video content successful.




- Proven experience in managing content operations and delivering results in a fast-paced digital media environment.
- Strong script-writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to independently develop or refine scripts when required.
- Excellent understanding of story structure, character development, dialogues, emotional hooks, and episode-wise storytelling.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive insights from data to inform content and creative decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Passion for storytelling and a strong understanding of the cultural nuances that drive viewer engagement across different audiences and regions.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business requirements.
- A proactive and hands-on approach to creative work is highly preferred.
