Defence Mania is looking for a detail-oriented Typist to convert mock test content provided by teachers into a professional, standardized, and error-free format. The candidate will be responsible for typing, formatting, proofreading, and maintaining consistency across all mock tests.

Key Responsibilities

- Type and format mock tests provided by faculty members.
- Maintain a uniform format for questions, options, solutions, tables, and diagrams.
- Ensure accurate typing with zero spelling and grammatical errors.
- Format documents in MS Word/Google Docs as per Defence Mania's standards.
- Organize questions according to subjects and topics.
- Insert images, tables, symbols, and mathematical equations where required.
- Coordinate with teachers to clarify formatting or content-related issues.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned mock tests while maintaining quality.
- Prepare print-ready and PDF-ready documents.

Required Skills

- Excellent typing speed with high accuracy.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Google Docs.
- Valuable command of English grammar and punctuation.
- Basic knowledge of formatting tools (tables, headers, footers, page layouts, styles, etc.).
- Ability to type mathematical equations and special symbols is an advantage.
- Good attention to detail and time management skills.




- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

- Graduate or Undergraduate (Any Stream).
- Prior experience in typing, content formatting, DTP, or academic publishing is preferred.
- Freshers with excellent typing and formatting skills may also apply.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in preparing competitive exam content.
- Familiarity with Hindi and English typing.
- Knowledge of OCR correction and PDF editing tools is a plus.

- Minimal formatting revisions required after submission.

Bonus / Preferred:

- Candidates preparing for or having prior experience with AFCAT, CDS, or other Defence Entrance Examinations will be given preference.
- Familiarity with AFCAT/CDS syllabus, question patterns, subjects, and terminology will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹8,679.05 - ₹24,187.92 per month
