About the Role

We are looking for an experienced HR Specialist – PF, ESI & Payroll to manage end-to-end payroll processing, statutory compliance, employee records, and HR operations. The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of PF, ESI, PT, TDS, payroll processing, labour-law compliance, and employee documentation.

Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll Management

- Handle end-to-end monthly payroll processing for all employees.
- Collect and verify attendance, leave, overtime, incentives, deductions, and salary inputs.
- Process salary calculations including gross salary, deductions, net salary, arrears, incentives, and full & final settlements.
- Ensure accurate and timely salary processing every month.
- Prepare payroll reports, salary statements, bank salary files, and management reports.
- Resolve employee queries related to salary, deductions, payslips, and payroll discrepancies.

PF & ESI Compliance

- Manage complete EPF and ESI processes and monthly compliance.
- Handle employee PF/ESI registration, onboarding, exits, transfers, and related documentation.
- Prepare and verify monthly PF and ESI contribution data.
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and payment of contributions.
- Handle PF/ESI challans, employee queries, corrections, and compliance-related issues.
- Coordinate with PF/ESI offices or consultants whenever required.

Statutory Compliance

- Ensure compliance with applicable PF, ESI, Professional Tax, TDS, Labour Laws, Minimum Wages, Bonus, Gratuity, and other statutory requirements.
- Track statutory due dates and ensure timely payments and filings.
- Maintain proper records for audits and statutory inspections.
- Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and government authorities when required.





HR Operations

- Maintain accurate employee master data and personnel files.
- Manage employee joining and exit documentation.
- Support onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and employee separation processes.
- Maintain attendance, leave, salary, and statutory records.
- Prepare HR MIS reports and payroll-related reports for management.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee salary and personal information.

Required Skills

- Strong practical knowledge of PF, ESI & Payroll Processing.
- Good understanding of Indian payroll and statutory compliance.
- Knowledge of Professional Tax, TDS, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, and Labour Laws.
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data reconciliation.
- Experience with HRMS/payroll software is preferred.
- Robust numerical and analytical skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.

Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in HR, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA/PG Diploma in HR or relevant professional certification is an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate

- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in payroll and statutory compliance.
- Candidates with strong experience specifically in PF, ESI and payroll operations will be preferred.
- Candidates based in Coimbatore or willing to work from Coimbatore are preferred.
