# Job Description – JavaScript Developer

### About the Role

We are looking for a **JavaScript Developer** who will be responsible for developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining web applications using JavaScript and related technologies. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with the development team.

### Key Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain responsive and user-friendly web applications using **JavaScript, HTML, and CSS**.

* Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable JavaScript code.

* Implement new features and functionality based on project requirements.

* Debug and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance-related problems.

* Work with APIs and integrate third-party services into web applications.

* Handle form validations, DOM manipulation, events, AJAX/fetch requests, and dynamic UI functionality.

* Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA, and other team members.

* Test and optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.

* Participate in code reviews and follow development standards and best practices.

* Maintain proper documentation of development work where required.

* Troubleshoot issues and provide timely technical solutions.

* Ensure assigned tasks are completed within defined timelines.

### Required Technical Skills

* Strong knowledge of **JavaScript (ES6+)**.





* Good understanding of **HTML5 and CSS3**.

* Knowledge of **DOM manipulation and JavaScript events**.

* Experience with **REST APIs and JSON**.

* Understanding of asynchronous JavaScript, including **Promises, async/await, and Fetch/AJAX**.

* Basic understanding of browser developer tools and debugging.

* Knowledge of **Git/GitHub** and version control.

* Understanding of responsive web development.

* Familiarity with Bootstrap or similar CSS frameworks will be an advantage.

### Good to Have

* Knowledge of **Node.js**.

* Familiarity with Express.js.

* Basic understanding of MySQL or other databases.

* Experience with React.js or another JavaScript framework/library.

* Understanding of website performance optimization and SEO basics.

### Qualification & Experience

* **Qualification:** B.Tech/B.E./BCA/MCA or any relevant technical qualification.

* **Experience:** 0–2 years of relevant experience.

* **Freshers with strong JavaScript fundamentals and good problem-solving skills may also apply.**
