The candidate should be comfortable travelling locally for supplier visits, market enquiries, material collection, and other business-related work. A personal two-wheeler is mandatory for this position.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate the complete dispatch process from order confirmation to delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, courier agencies, and customers for timely dispatch and delivery.
- Collect rates and quotations from suppliers for various products as required by the company.
- Conduct regular market visits to check product availability, pricing, suppliers, and market trends.
- Visit suppliers and collect materials/documents whenever required.
- Compare supplier rates and provide the best available options to the management.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding material readiness, packing, dispatch, and delivery schedules.
- Verify quantity, product specifications, packaging, and documents before dispatch.
- Maintain proper records of dispatches, delivery details, supplier quotations, and market enquiries.
- Coordinate with the accounts/procurement team regarding invoices, delivery challans, and other dispatch-related documents.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to customers, government departments, Army/Defence units, and other organisations as assigned.
- Handle urgent local purchases, document collection, material movement, and other field responsibilities.
- Maintain professional relationships with suppliers, transporters, and market contacts.
- Perform other operational and market-related duties assigned by management.





Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 12th pass; graduate preferred.
- Previous experience in dispatch, procurement, logistics, general order supplies, or market work will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of the Siliguri local market and supplier network preferred.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to obtain and compare supplier rates.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, WhatsApp, email, and computer operations.
- Good organisational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Must be willing to travel locally for business work.
- Must have a valid driving licence and own two-wheeler.
