Key Requirements

- Qualification: Pharm.D / M.Pharm (Clinical Pharmacy / Pharmacy Practice) preferred; B.Pharm / D.Pharm may be considered as per role requirements.
- Experience: 2–5 years of relevant hospital pharmacy experience, preferably with experience in both clinical pharmacy and pharmacy operations.
- Valid registration with the applicable State Pharmacy Council, wherever required.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, medication safety, drug interactions, dosage, contraindications, and rational use of medicines.
- Sound understanding of prescription review, medication reconciliation, patient counselling, adverse drug reaction monitoring, and medication-error prevention.
- Ability to manage pharmacy operations including dispensing, inventory, procurement, stock verification, FEFO, expiry control, storage, billing, and documentation.
- Knowledge of handling high-alert, controlled, emergency, and LASA (Look-Alike/Sound-Alike) medicines.
- Valuable understanding of antimicrobial stewardship, clinical pharmacy practices, quality improvement, and patient-safety initiatives.




- Ability to supervise, train, and guide pharmacy staff and ensure smooth day-to-day pharmacy operations.
- Strong skills in documentation, reporting, audit readiness, SOP implementation, and regulatory compliance.
- Working knowledge of applicable pharmacy laws, hospital policies, statutory requirements, and NABH standards.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with doctors, nurses, clinical departments, stores, purchase, accounts, laboratory, and hospital management.
- Good communication, patient counselling, analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, ethical practice, and quality healthcare services.
- Willingness to participate in clinical rounds, training, audits, quality initiatives, and continuing professional development.
