About the Role

Lakshmi Ceramics is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to manage and strengthen our procurement operations for tiles, sanitaryware, ceramics, building materials, and related products.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and manage procurement activities based on showroom and warehouse requirements.
- Source tiles, sanitaryware, ceramics, bath fittings, and related building materials from manufacturers and suppliers.
- Identify and develop new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing vendors.
- Negotiate purchase prices, credit terms, discounts, schemes, transportation, and delivery schedules.
- Obtain and compare supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
- Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, Accounts, and Management for purchase planning and stock requirements.
- Monitor stock levels, fast-moving and non-moving products, and plan purchases accordingly.
- Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery to the warehouse/branches.
- Monitor supplier performance, product quality, delivery timelines, and commercial terms.
- Maintain proper purchase records, vendor details, price lists,



and procurement MIS.
- Keep track of market trends, competitor pricing, new products, and supplier schemes.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and better purchase margins.
- Ensure procurement decisions are aligned with company budgets and business requirements.
- Support management in developing effective procurement strategies for Lakshmi Ceramics' branches.

Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement/purchase, preferably in tiles, ceramics, sanitaryware, building materials, furniture, or a similar retail/trading industry.
- Solid vendor negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Good knowledge of product pricing, purchase processes, and market trends.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and purchase/MIS reporting.
- Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple suppliers and procurement requirements effectively.
