We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the company's accounting operations, statutory compliance, taxation, financial reporting, and day-to-day finance activities. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a manufacturing company, possess robust knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting principles, and be capable of independently handling books of accounts and coordinating with auditors.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Prepare and maintain books of accounts, ledgers, and journal entries.
- Perform bank, vendor, customer, and inter-company reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance, including timely filing of returns.
- Ensure accurate accounting of purchases, sales, expenses, fixed assets, and inventory.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process vendor payments and customer receipts while maintaining proper documentation.
- Assist in budgeting, cash flow planning, and financial analysis.
- Maintain proper accounting records and support management with financial data and reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards,



company policies, and applicable laws.
- Support inventory accounting and cost-related financial transactions in a manufacturing environment.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Financial Reporting.
- Excellent understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, and financial closing.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF formulas), and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of manufacturing accounting and inventory accounting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering industry.
- Working knowledge of import/export accounting will be an added advantage.
- Experience handling statutory and tax audits.
- Familiarity with Tally Prime and such as Zoho Books

Salary

₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month (Based on experience and skills)
