Job Description

Job Title: Placement Officer

Location: Technopark, Trivandrum, Kerala (with frequent travel across Kerala and occasional travel outside the state)

Job Type: Full-time

Experience: 4–5 years (Prior experience in placement activities is mandatory)

Age Limit: Up to 35 years

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic Placement Officer with prior experience in placement operations to take charge of our placement initiatives. This mid-level role involves establishing solid industry connections, creating job opportunities, and ensuring successful placements for our candidates. The position requires frequent travel within Kerala and occasional travel to other regions of India.

Key Responsibilities:





- Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, industry partners, and alumni to identify and secure job opportunities.

- Organize and manage campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and other placement-related events.

- Travel extensively across Kerala and occasionally outside the state to engage with employers and explore new opportunities.

- Provide career guidance and counseling to students/candidates to enhance their employability.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of job opportunities, placement statistics, and market trends.

- Work closely with academic teams to align placement activities with curriculum and industry requirements.

Requirements

Travel Requirements:

Frequent travel within Kerala: 2–3 times per week

- Occasional travel outside Kerala: 1–2 times per month

Requirements:

- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline

- 4–5 years of proven experience in placements, recruitment, or related domains (mandatory)

- Strong track record in successful placements and employer engagement

- Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills

- Ability to manage frequent travel schedules

- Age: Not exceeding 35 years
