- Prepare, review, and process customs documentation for shipments moving between Canada and the United States.
- Prepare and submit ACE and ACI eManifests accurately and within required timelines.
- Process and monitor PARS and PAPS shipments and confirm customs clearance prior to border crossing.
- Review commercial invoices, Bills of Lading (BOL), packing lists, and other shipping documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Verify shipment details including commodity descriptions, quantities, weights, shipper/consignee information, port of entry, tractor/trailer information, and driver details.
- Communicate with customs brokers, customers, dispatchers, and drivers regarding shipment clearance and documentation requirements.
- Monitor shipments for customs release and immediately communicate clearance status to dispatch and drivers.
- Identify, investigate, and correct rejected or incomplete ACE/ACI manifests.
- Assist with FDA Prior Notice and other special customs requirements when applicable.
- Ensure accurate commodity descriptions and shipment information are provided in accordance with CBSA and U.S. CBP requirements.




- Maintain organized records of customs documents, manifests, clearance confirmations, and broker communications.
- Troubleshoot customs and border-crossing issues to minimize driver delays.
- Coordinate with dispatch to ensure drivers have all required customs documents and clearance information before arriving at the border.
- Handle amendments and corrections to customs manifests when shipment, driver, tractor, trailer, or routing information changes.
- Follow company procedures and applicable Canadian and U.S. customs regulations.
- Perform other customs, compliance, and cross-border logistics duties as required.
