Job Overview
We are looking for a CNC Operator with 1–2 years of relevant experience in CNC machine operation. The candidate should have practical knowledge of machine operation, basic machine setting, tool changes, quality inspection, and machining of metal components.
Experience working with copper components or copper materials will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines according to production requirements and process instructions.
- Perform basic machine and tool setting.
- Carry out tool changes and make basic offset adjustments.
- Load and unload components safely and correctly.
- Read and follow engineering drawings and process sheets.
- Monitor machining operations and maintain required production quality.
- Check component dimensions using measuring instruments.
- Work with copper components and follow appropriate machining processes.
- Identify machining defects and report or correct issues as required.
- Maintain basic production and quality records.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to meet daily production targets.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience as a CNC Operator.
- Practical experience operating CNC machines is required.
- Knowledge of CNC machine setting, tool setting, and tool changes.
- Experience with copper materials or components is preferred.
- ITI, Diploma in Mechanical, or relevant technical qualification is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, and other measuring instruments.
- Good understanding of quality inspection and production processes.
- Attention to detail and willingness to work in a manufacturing environment.
