About SimpSocial

SimpSocial is an automotive technology company building an AI-powered CRM, communication, lead-management, and BDC automation platform for automotive dealerships.

Our platform helps dealership sales teams, BDC agents, managers, and other employees communicate with customers, manage leads, make and receive calls, send SMS and email, schedule appointments, receive notifications, interact with AI-powered workflows, and manage their daily activities.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Flutter Mobile App Developer to join our engineering team full-time and take ownership of our mobile application experience.

This is not simply a position converting a website into an app. We need someone who understands how to take a complex SaaS/CRM platform and create an excellent mobile experience designed around how dealership employees actually work from their phones.

What You'll Be Working On

You will work directly with our development, backend, QA, product, AI, and operations teams to build and improve the SimpSocial mobile experience.

Our mobile platform includes or will include functionality related to:

- CRM lead and customer management
- Customer conversations
- SMS/Text messaging
- Email communication
- Inbound and outbound calling
- Click-to-call functionality
- AI-assisted customer communication
- Lead notifications
- Appointment notifications and reminders
- Appointment scheduling and management
- Customer activity histories
- Tasks and follow-up activities
- Lead assignment and status management
- Sales and BDC workflows
- Manager dashboards
- Reporting and performance information
- Real-time alerts
- User and dealership permissions
- Multi-store access

You will be expected to understand the workflow behind each feature rather than simply reproduce desktop screens on a smaller display.

Key ResponsibilitiesFlutter Mobile Application Development

- Develop, maintain, and improve our cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart
- Build production-quality applications for iOS and Android
- Create clean, scalable, reusable, and maintainable Flutter architecture
- Develop new mobile functionality as the SimpSocial platform expands
- Refactor and improve existing functionality where necessary
- Maintain consistent behavior across iOS and Android
- Identify workflows that should be redesigned specifically for mobile
- Work closely with backend engineers to develop effective mobile APIs
- Participate in architecture decisions and code reviews

CRM & Real-Time Mobile Functionality

Our users work with live customers, so speed and reliability are critical.

You will help build mobile workflows allowing dealership employees to:

- Receive new-lead notifications
- Open the correct lead directly from a notification
- View customer information and communication history
- Respond to customers by SMS/Text or email
- Make and manage customer calls
- View AI conversations
- Review CRM notes and activities
- Complete daily tasks
- Manage appointments
- Update lead statuses
- Access customer and vehicle information
- Receive real-time alerts
- Move quickly between customers and workflows

Previous experience developing CRM, communications, sales, call-center, messaging, or workflow applications is a major plus.

API & Backend Integration

You should be very comfortable working with backend systems, including:

- RESTful APIs
- JSON-based services
- Authentication and authorization
- Secure token management
- API error handling and retries
- Real-time data
- WebSockets or similar technologies
- Third-party SDK integrations
- Background processes
- Data synchronization

Calling, Messaging & Communications

Communication is a major component of SimpSocial.

Experience developing mobile functionality involving the following is highly valuable:

- Microphone permissions
- Audio routing

Experience integrating Twilio or similar communication platforms is a strong plus.

Push Notifications & Deep Linking

Notifications are extremely important to our users.

You should have strong experience implementing:

- Firebase Cloud Messaging
- Apple Push Notification Service
- Push notification permissions
- Foreground and background notifications
- Notification actions
- Deep linking
- Notification routing

For example, when a salesperson receives a notification that a customer responded, tapping that notification should take the user directly to the correct customer conversation, not simply open the application's home screen.

Mobile UI/UX

We want someone who thinks about the entire mobile user experience, not simply development.

You will help ensure SimpSocial is:

You should be comfortable recommending improvements when a desktop workflow does not translate well to mobile.

In addition to our Flutter applications, you will work with our web-development team to ensure the SimpSocial web platform provides an excellent mobile-browser experience.

This may include improving:

- Responsive layouts
- Mobile navigation
- Touch-friendly controls
- Forms
- Tables and data displays
- CRM lead pages
- Messaging screens
- Dashboards
- Appointment calendars
- Mobile browser compatibility

- Responsive behavior across different devices

Experience with responsive web development is a significant plus.

You will help ensure our applications perform reliably under real-world conditions, including:

Required Experience

We are looking for a senior-level developer, not someone learning Flutter on the job.

Candidates should have:

- 5+ years of professional mobile development experience
- Significant hands-on experience with Flutter and Dart
- Experience building production applications published in the Apple App Store and/or Google Play Store
- Strong understanding of Flutter architecture
- Experience with Provider, Riverpod, Bloc,



or similar state-management solutions
- Strong REST API and JSON experience
- Firebase experience
- Push notification experience
- Secure authentication experience
- Git/GitHub experience
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Experience supporting production mobile applications
- Understanding of application performance optimization

Who We're Looking For

If a feature technically works but provides a poor mobile experience, we expect you to recognize it.

If an API is taking too long, we want you to investigate why.

If a notification doesn't take the user to the correct screen, we want you to identify and resolve the entire workflow.

If something works correctly on Android but behaves differently on iOS, we expect you to troubleshoot and resolve it.

"How can we make this faster, easier, more reliable, and better on a mobile device?"
