About the Role

Catalyst Education is looking for a dynamic and target-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive business growth, lead sales activities, generate recent opportunities, and achieve admission and revenue targets in the Calicut region.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute business development strategies for the Calicut market.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales/admission targets.
- Generate and convert leads through calls, meetings, referrals, events, and local networking.
- Manage and guide the sales/admission team toward achieving targets.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, institutions, and other stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential market segments.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
- Track team performance, conversion rates, revenue, and lead pipeline.
- Conduct regular team reviews and provide performance feedback.




- Coordinate with Marketing, Academic, and Branch teams for lead generation and conversions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management.

Requirements

- 2–4 years of experience in Business Development / Sales, preferably in EdTech or Education.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Experience in managing or mentoring a sales team is preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Customer-focused and highly target-oriented.
- Good knowledge of the Calicut market is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
