Job Overview

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who is passionate about mechanical design, CAD modelling, and engineering drawings. The candidate will be responsible for developing accurate and manufacturing-friendly designs while coordinating with production and other technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop 2D drawings and 3D models of mechanical components and assemblies.
- Prepare manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, and detailed engineering drawings.
- Prepare and maintain BOM (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation.
- Modify existing designs based on project, production, or customer requirements.
- Ensure proper dimensions, tolerances, fits, and clearances in engineering drawings.
- Coordinate with Production, Fabrication, Quality, and Purchase teams for design-related requirements.
- Resolve design and manufacturing issues and suggest practical engineering solutions.
- Maintain drawing revisions and engineering documentation.
- Support new product development and continuous design improvement.
- Ensure designs are practical, cost-effective,



and suitable for manufacturing.
- Assist senior engineers in design calculations, technical analysis, and project execution.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of Mechanical Design fundamentals.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is preferred.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks / Creo / Inventor will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of sheet metal, fabrication, machining, and mechanical components is preferred.
- Basic understanding of GD&T;, tolerances, fits, and material selection.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with production and other departments.

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering
- Freshers with good CAD/design knowledge can also apply.
- Candidates with 1–3 years of relevant experience will be preferred.
