Role : Application Security Engineer

Location: Hyderabad

Mode - Hybrid

Salary: 6 LPA

Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in Application Security, including hands-on experience in SAST, DAST, VAPT, Web Application Security, API Security Testing, and Vulnerability Management.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Application Security Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in application security, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, SAST, and DAST. The candidate should have solid hands-on experience in identifying, analyzing, and remediating security vulnerabilities across Web Applications, APIs, Mobile Applications, Networks, and Cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

Perform Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST).

Conduct Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) for web applications, APIs, mobile applications, and network infrastructure.

Perform manual and automated security testing using industry-standard tools.

Identify, validate, analyze, and eliminate false positives from security scan results.

Categorize vulnerabilities and assign risk ratings based on CVSS and business impact.

Conduct security assessments based on OWASP Top 10 and other application security standards.

Perform source code security reviews and support secure coding practices.

Conduct API security testing using tools such as Postman and SoapUI.

Perform threat modelling in collaboration with application development teams.

Provide remediation recommendations and assist developers in resolving identified vulnerabilities.





Conduct remediation reviews and validate the closure of security findings.

Perform network security assessments using tools such as Nessus and Nmap.

Prepare technical, executive, vulnerability assessment, and remediation reports.

Work closely with developers, architects, product teams, and stakeholders to improve application security. Participate in client discussions and provide regular status updates.
