About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our Accounts &

Analytics team in an insurance broking environment. The role will primarily focus on

insurance product and market analysis, competitor and partner analysis, data mining,

data validation, and generating actionable business insights.

The candidate should have strong analytical skills, good knowledge of Excel/Google

Sheets, and the ability to work with large datasets and convert raw information into

meaningful insights for business and management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. Insurance Product & Market Analysis

● Research and analyse insurance products offered by various insurance companies.

● Compare product features, pricing, benefits, exclusions, eligibility criteria,

coverage, and other key parameters.

● Track changes and updates in insurance products and offerings.

● Conduct comparative analysis across different insurance companies and products.

● Identify product gaps, opportunities and competitive advantages.

2. Insurance Company & Partner Analysis

● Analyse and maintain information related to insurance companies and business

partners.

● Evaluate partner performance, product portfolios, pricing, processes and service

offerings.

● Conduct competitor and market research to understand industry trends.

● Prepare analytical insights to support decisions related to recent products and

partnerships.

● Identify potential opportunities for improving existing insurance partnerships.

3. Data Mining & Data Analysis

● Collect, extract and analyse data from multiple internal and external sources.

● Perform data mining to identify trends, patterns, opportunities and anomalies.

● Clean,



validate and organise large datasets for analysis.

● Identify meaningful relationships and trends within business and insurance data.

● Convert raw data into useful insights for business teams.

4. Business & Sales Analytics

● Analyse business data to understand product, LOB and customer-level trends.

● Study sales performance across different insurance products and categories.

● Identify high-performing and underperforming products/segments.

● Analyse conversion trends, business volumes, renewal patterns and product

penetration.

● Provide data-driven recommendations to improve business performance.

5. Data Management & Accuracy

● Maintain accurate and updated databases related to insurance companies,

products and partners.

● Verify data received from different sources and identify discrepancies.

● Ensure consistency and accuracy of analytical datasets.

● Develop and maintain structured databases for future analysis and business

requirements.

6. Analytical Support & Insights

● Support management and business teams with data-backed insights.

● Conduct ad-hoc analysis based on business requirements.

● Create analytical models, comparison sheets and dashboards where required.

● Present key findings and recommendations in a simple and understandable

manner.





● Continuously identify opportunities where data can improve business decisions.

Required Skills

● Strong MS Excel / Google Sheets skills.

● Valuable understanding of data analysis and data mining concepts.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

● Ability to work with large datasets.

● Good research and information-gathering skills.

● Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

● Ability to compare and interpret insurance products and market information.

● Good communication and presentation skills.

● Knowledge of the insurance industry / insurance broking will be an added advantage.

● Knowledge of Power BI, SQL or other data analytics tools will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

● Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Data

Analytics or a related field.

● 2–5 years of experience in analytics, insurance, financial services, data analysis, business

research or a similar role.

● Candidates with experience in an insurance company, insurance broker, fintech or

financial services organisation will be preferred.

● Should be comfortable working independently with large amounts of data and

conducting detailed research.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
