We are seeking an experienced Web Developer Lead with 7+ years of experience to lead development teams, drive technical innovation, and architect high-quality web applications using contemporary technologies.

About the Role

As a Web Developer Lead, you'll take on a pivotal leadership role in our engineering team, combining technical expertise with people management skills. You'll lead development teams, architect complex solutions, and drive technical innovation while ensuring high-quality, scalable web applications.

What You'll Do

- Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance and career development
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance web applications using modern full stack technologies
- Architect solutions for complex technical challenges and ensure system scalability and security
- Establish and maintain development best practices, coding standards, and quality processes
- Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate their potential adoption
- Drive continuous improvement in development processes and team productivity

Required Expertise

- 6-8 years of full stack development experience with proven leadership capabilities
- Expert-level proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
- Strong backend development skills in Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, API design and implementation
- Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and development methodologies
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices




- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills

- Identify and address performance bottlenecks in web applications

Requirements

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 7+ years of proven experience in web development with a lead role
- Strong leadership and team management experience
- Experience leading complex technical projects and teams

Technical Skills

- Proven expertise with front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
- Strong proficiency in server-side technologies: Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java
- Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies, best practices, and design patterns
- Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
