Job Title: Supervisor

Location: Saha, Ambala

Working Days: (6 days a week)

Salary: ₹20,000.00-₹35,000.00 per month

Education: Strong background in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering/ (LEDs, metals, Borosilicate Glass preferred).

Experience: 3 to 7 years’ Experience must be required

Preferred Industry: Luxury, High-End Interiors, Designer Lighting, or any Luxury Segment

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Knowledge

Understand wiring diagrams, schematics, Bills of Materials (BOM), and assembly drawings. Be familiar with electrical standards, including IEC, IS codes, grounding practices, insulation requirements, and torque specifications. Troubleshoot common electrical faults such as short circuits, open circuits, incorrect wiring, and poor terminations. Ensure assemblies meet design and safety requirements.

2. Quality Control

Identify defects such as loose crimps, incorrect wire colors, missing ferrules, damaged insulation, and poor soldering. Use inspection and testing equipment effectively, including millimeters, meggers, and hi-pot testers. Follow quality procedures, inspection checklists, and acceptance criteria. Promote a right first time culture to minimize rework.

3. Production Planning

Plan daily production targets based on available manpower and workload. Sequence assembly operations efficiently to prevent bottlenecks. Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and maintain smooth workflow. Balance productivity, quality, and delivery commitments.

4. Team Leadership





Train and mentor technicians on assembly methods, safety requirements, and quality standards. Allocate work according to skill levels and workload capacity. Motivate team members to achieve production goals. Resolve workplace conflicts professionally and maintain team morale.

5. Safety Compliance

Ensure proper use of PPE, including gloves, safety goggles, ESD shoes, and insulated tools. Enforce lockout/tag out procedures for energized equipment. Promote safe working practices and hazard awareness. Possess basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response for electrical incidents.

6. Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis

Investigate issues beyond immediate symptoms to identify root causes. Analyze problems related to tools, components, drawings, processes, or workmanship. Apply methods such as 5-Why Analysis and Fishbone Diagrams for recurring defects. Make timely decisions regarding rework, hold, dispatch, or scrap actions.

7. Documentation and Reporting

Maintain accurate assembly records, rejection reports, downtime logs, and inspection records. Prepare daily production reports showing targets, actual output, and reasons for variances. Ensure proper shift handovers with clear communication of pending tasks and issues. Support traceability and audit requirements through proper documentation.

Time and Cost Control

Monitor cycle times and productivity for panels, cabinets, and assemblies. Reduce material wastage through efficient use of wires, terminals, connectors, and consumables. Identify and escalate material shortages before production is affected. Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

9. Communication Skills

Provide clear and effective instructions to technicians using both technical terminology and local language when required. Communicate production issues, shortages, and delays promptly to Production, Quality, Stores, and Management teams. Coordinate with Design and Engineering teams to clarify drawings and specifications. Ensure smooth information flow across departments.

10. Accountability and Ownership

Take full ownership of production output, quality, and delivery performance. Avoid blame culture and focus on achieving solutions. Meet deadlines and maintain performance under pressure. Accept responsibility for field failures and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Valid passport and willingness to travel as required
