Job Title: Consultant / Assistant Manager – Forensic (AML/KYC)

Location: Mumbai

Role OverviewKey Responsibilities

- Perform independent QA/QC reviews of KYC/AML cases, including CDD, EDD, and risk assessments.
- Challenge First Line decisions and provide risk-based recommendations.
- Interpret AML/KYC policies and ensure compliance with FATF and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regulatory gap assessments and support policy enhancements.
- Execute quality assurance, governance, control testing, and root cause analysis.
- Support internal audits, regulatory inspections, and remediation initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvements in KYC processes, controls, and risk monitoring.

Required Skills

- Robust expertise in AML/KYC, CDD/EDD, Financial Crime Compliance, and Risk Management.
- Experience in Second Line of Defence, QA/QC, Governance, or Oversight roles.




- Sound knowledge of FATF guidelines and AML regulations.
- Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

- Graduate/Postgraduate from a recognized university.
- 4–8+ years of experience in AML/KYC, Financial Crime Compliance, or related roles.
- Experience with Big 4 firms, banks, or regulatory organizations is preferred.
- CAMS/ACAMS/ICA or similar certifications are an added advantage.
