Job Description

As a Shopify Developer on our IT team, you will work closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver customer-facing store features and enhancements. You will independently deliver features, optimize storefront performance, and ensure stable integrations with payment gateways, ERPs, and marketing tools. This role emphasizes practical problem solving, quality code, and collaboration within an agile environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Implement and maintain API integrations (REST/GraphQL) with third-party services
- Troubleshoot and debug frontend and integration issues across stores
- Participate in and conduct code reviews to enforce best practices
- Optimize store performance, mobile responsiveness, and accessibility
- Collaborate with product designers and backend engineers to scope and deliver features




- Write clear technical documentation and deployment notes
- Use Git and CI workflows to manage code, branches, and deployments

Required Skills & Experience

- 2-3 years of hands-on Shopify development experience (themes and apps)
- Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and contemporary JavaScript
- Experience with API integration (REST and/or GraphQL) and authentication flows
- Proven debugging skills and experience performing code reviews
- Familiarity with Git, version control workflows, and deployment tools
- Understanding of performance optimization, responsive design, and SEO best practices
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team
