Job Summary:

Responsible for assisting surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff in the safe and effective functioning of the Operation Theatre. Ensures proper preparation of OT, equipment, instruments, and supplies before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare the OT, instruments, equipment, and supplies before procedures.

* Assist surgeons and anesthetists during surgical procedures.

* Maintain strict aseptic and infection-control practices.

* Handle, clean, sterilize, and maintain surgical instruments as per protocol.

* Check the availability and functioning of OT equipment.

* Assist in patient positioning and safe transfer of patients.

* Maintain proper documentation and OT records.

* Follow hospital safety, infection-control,



and emergency protocols.

* Assist with counting and checking instruments, swabs, and other surgical materials.

* Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the OT after each procedure.

* Coordinate with OT nurses, surgeons, anesthetists, CSSD, and other departments.

* Report equipment problems, incidents, or shortages to the concerned supervisor.

Qualifications:

- Diploma
- B.Sc. in Operation Theatre OR
- Equivalent qualification

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
