Job Description

Adithya College of Arts and Science is seeking enthusiastic, qualified, and student-focused Computer Science Faculty to join our academic team. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering quality classroom and practical instruction, mentoring students, and contributing to the academic development of the department.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions.
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assignments, question papers, and other academic resources.
- Conduct laboratory sessions and provide hands-on guidance to students.
- Assess student performance through assignments, tests, examinations, and projects.
- Mentor students and provide academic and career guidance.
- Participate in department meetings, workshops, seminars, conferences, and other college activities.
- Guide students in academic projects and encourage participation in technical activities.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement of teaching practices.
- Maintain academic records, attendance, and other required documentation.
- Support research, publications, consultancy, and other academic initiatives where applicable.

Required Qualifications

- Master's degree in Computer Science / Computer Applications / Information Technology or a relevant discipline.
- M.Sc.



(CS), MCA, M.Tech., M.E., or equivalent qualification.
- NET/SET/Ph.D. preferred as per applicable norms.
- Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals and programming.
- Good communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and management.

Preferred Technical Skills

Candidates with knowledge or teaching experience in areas such as:

- Python / Java / C / C++
- Data Structures and Algorithms
- Database Management Systems
- Web Technologies
- Operating Systems
- Computer Networks
- Software Engineering
- Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
- Cloud Computing
- Data Science

Experience
