Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and target-oriented Telecaller to support the Admissions and Marketing team. The candidate will be responsible for contacting prospective students and parents, providing information about university programs, following up on leads, scheduling counselling sessions, and converting enquiries into admissions.

Key Responsibilities

- Make outbound calls to prospective students and parents from the leads provided.
- Handle incoming enquiries regarding courses, eligibility, fees, admission process, scholarships, and university facilities.
- Explain BEST Innovation University's academic programs and admission procedures clearly.
- Follow up regularly with prospective students through calls, WhatsApp, and other approved communication channels.
- Identify students' requirements and guide them toward suitable programs.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, enquiries, follow-ups, and admission status.
- Update lead and student information in the CRM/ERP system or assigned tracking sheet.
- Schedule appointments and counselling sessions with the Admissions team.
- Coordinate with the Admissions and Marketing teams to ensure timely follow-up on leads.
- Achieve assigned daily, weekly, and monthly calling and admission-conversion targets.
- Maintain professional communication and build a positive relationship with students and parents.
- Provide regular reports on call activity, lead status, follow-ups, and conversions.
- Handle objections and queries professionally and escalate complex issues when required.




- Participate in admission campaigns, events, and other promotional activities when required.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Number of calls completed per day.
- Number of qualified leads generated.
- Follow-up completion rate.
- Counselling appointments scheduled.
- Lead-to-admission conversion rate.
- Monthly admission target achievement.
- Accuracy of CRM/ERP and lead records.
- Response and follow-up turnaround time.

Required Skills

- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Good convincing and interpersonal skills.
- Strong follow-up and relationship-building ability.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office/Excel and CRM/ERP systems.
- Ability to handle multiple leads and follow-ups efficiently.
- Good listening and problem-solving skills.
- Professional telephone etiquette.
- Knowledge of English and regional languages is preferred.

Qualification & Experience

- Education: Any Graduate / Post Graduate.
- Experience: 0–3 years in telecalling, admissions, education counselling, sales, customer service, or a related field.
- Freshers with excellent communication and convincing skills may also be considered.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates with experience or Freshers in education admissions, university/college counselling, telecalling, or sales will be preferred.
- Should be comfortable working with admission targets.
- Should have a positive attitude and willingness to work in a quick-paced environment.
- Should be willing to make regular follow-up calls and interact with students and parents.

Compensation

Salary: As per university norms and based on the candidate's experience and skills.
