Estimation Engineer – Civil Construction

The Building Contractor (TBC) is looking for an Estimation Engineer to join our Design & Estimation Team.

The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimates, rate analyses and project budgets for residential and commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
- Prepare BOQs, cost estimates and project budgets.
- Carry out rate analysis for materials, labour and construction activities.
- Prepare estimates for civil, structural and finishing works.
- Review drawings and specifications before estimation.
- Obtain and compare vendor/subcontractor quotations where required.
- Coordinate with Design, Project and Accounts teams for cost-related information.
- Assist in preparing client quotations and construction proposals.
- Update estimates based on drawing, scope or specification revisions.
- Maintain proper estimation records and project cost documentation.




- Support cost control and value engineering activities.

Qualification

B.Tech / B.E / Diploma in Civil Engineering

Preferred Skills

- Positive knowledge of construction quantities and specifications.
- Strong understanding of BOQ preparation and rate analysis.
- Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and estimation software will be an advantage.
- Good analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Understanding of residential construction methods and materials.

Experience

1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
Candidates with strong estimation knowledge and suitable practical skills may also be considered.
