Refraction, and vision testing. Interns will work closely with experienced optometrists and
ophthalmologists, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to a wide range of eye care procedures
and patient interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing comprehensive eye examinations, including vision tests and refraction.
- Operate diagnostic equipment such as Autorefractor (AR) and Non-Contact Tonometer (NCT).
- Take accurate patient history and document findings.
- Help in diagnosing and managing common ocular conditions.
- Educate patients about eye health,
contact lens care, and preventive measures.
- Support optometrists in daily clinical tasks and administrative duties.
- Maintain and sterilize equipment following hospital protocols.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops conducted by senior staff.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of Autorefractor (AR), Non-Contact Tonometry (NCT), and refraction
techniques.
- Understanding of how to take vision and conduct vision tests.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
