We are looking for an experienced Senior Executive – Transport & Logistics to manage daily transportation and logistics operations for our dairy manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for vehicle planning, route coordination, transporter management, delivery monitoring, and ensuring timely movement of milk and milk products.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and coordinate daily transportation and vehicle requirements
- Coordinate dispatch of milk and milk products to distributors, dealers, and customers
- Manage and monitor company-owned and hired vehicles
- Coordinate with transporters, drivers, distributors, and sales teams
- Plan productive routes and vehicle utilization to control transportation costs
- Monitor vehicle movement and ensure on-time delivery
- Track vehicle availability, loading, dispatch, and delivery status
- Ensure proper handling of temperature-sensitive dairy products and maintain cold-chain requirements
- Monitor vehicle documents such as RC, Insurance, Fitness, Permit, PUC, and Driver Licence
- Maintain transport records, trip sheets, delivery reports, and vehicle-related documentation
- Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle running, transportation expenses, and trip costs
- Coordinate with the Maintenance team for vehicle servicing and breakdowns
- Handle transporter bills, trip settlements, and verification of transport invoices
- Monitor delivery issues, shortages, damages, delays, and customer complaints
- Prepare daily, weekly,



and monthly transport MIS reports
- Identify opportunities for route optimization and transportation cost reduction
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable transport regulations

Qualification

- Any Degree / Diploma
- Degree / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, or Operations will be an added advantage

Experience

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Transport / Logistics operations
- Experience in Dairy / FMCG / Food Manufacturing will be preferred
- Experience in handling vehicle fleets, transporters, and delivery operations is preferred
