About the Role

A growing retail and consumer goods distribution firm is seeking a dependable and experienced Warehouse Manager for our primary storage and dispatch facility at Mollar Gate, Kolkata.

The selected candidate will oversee daily inbound receiving, order picking, packing, inventory reconciliation, courier coordination, and team management.

Responsibilities

- Inbound & Outbound Handling:
- Supervise daily receiving, unloading, and quality checking of incoming stock.
- Oversee order packing, labeling, and timely dispatch to meet daily fulfillment schedules.
- Inventory & Stock Management:
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies with inventory logs.
- Monitor stock movements, storage space optimization, and return shipment processing.
- Logistics Coordination:
- Coordinate daily pickups and handovers with third-party logistics (3PL) and courier partners.
- Track dispatch manifests, gate passes, and delivery status reports.




- Facility & Team Leadership:
- Supervise and assign daily tasks to warehouse staff, loaders, and packaging personnel.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse aisles in accordance with standard safety protocols.
- Reporting:
- Maintain daily dispatch logs, attendance sheets, and stock consumption records in spreadsheets.

Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: 3 to 6 years of experience in warehouse, distribution center, or logistics operations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree (preferred).
- Technical Skills: Basic to intermediate proficiency in MS Excel or spreadsheet software.
- Core Competencies: Team supervision, inventory tracking, problem-solving, and punctual dispatch management.
- Location: Candidates residing near Mollar Gate, Maheshtala, Taratala, Behala, or nearby areas with reliable commuting arrangements are preferred.
